Résidence Ngoa-Ekélé was born from a single observation: Yaoundé's growing professional and academic community deserved housing that matched their ambitions. Located just minutes from the University of Yaoundé I and the Omnisports Stadium, this 24-unit residential complex was designed to offer a standard of living rarely found in this neighbourhood at a genuinely accessible price point.
The project spans four floors across two interconnected blocks arranged around a shaded central courtyard. The courtyard is the heart of the development — a planted, sheltered gathering space that encourages community while providing passive cooling to the surrounding apartments. Each unit features private balconies facing either the courtyard or the Yaoundé skyline.
We delivered three unit configurations to serve different household types: studios for students and young professionals, 2-bedroom units for couples and small families, and 3-bedroom family apartments on the upper floors. All units share access to a rooftop terrace with panoramic city views — a rare amenity at this price point.
The project was completed on time and delivered to the developer fully occupied, having been sold off-plan prior to construction completion — a testament to the trust LongPie's reputation commands in the Yaoundé market.
